What is Introhive’s Alumni Tracking?
Alumni Tracking is an Introhive premium product that enables firms to automatically monitor and engage their alumni as they move to new organizations. Alumni Tracking helps you stay connected to your alumni so you can:
Tap into valuable referral sources
Strengthen your firm’s community
Drive growth by turning past relationships into future opportunities
How do I access Alumni Tracking?
Alumni Tracking is a premium product, so are not available unless purchased. Alumni Tracking is currently available from:
the People page under the Alumni tab,
and the Alumni tab in an organization
the Alumni tab in Browser Extension

How does Alumni Tracking work?
Alumni Tracking will track former colleagues as they transition to new roles and to new organizations. These would include colleagues who were former users of Introhive at the firm, as well as colleagues who have left the firm who were not previously Introhive users.
Alumni Tracking is passively collecting this information, requiring no input from users.
Alumni Tracking performs the same enrichment on former colleagues as it does for contacts. However, colleague organizations are displayed more prominently in the Alumni sections.
How do I use AlumniTracking?
Alumni Tracking is presented in these main areas in Introhive:
The People tab
On the Organization preview panel and full profile
From Ask Introhive
From the Alumni tab in Relationships Portal
People Tab
From the People tab in the Relationship Portal, select the Alumni tab to view former colleagues who have moved on to new organizations.
Colleagues who were formerly ingested will be selectable, and will display both inactive and colleague in their preview panel and full profile.
Colleagues who were never users in the system or who were deleted will have a ? displayed in their profile picture. These colleagues are ones our enrichment system identified as having formerly worked at the firm but are now at a different organization. These are not selectable and are display-only.
Alumni can be searched using the search bar and via the filters options, displayed below:
2. Organizations and Browser Extension
Alumni Tracking can also be found in the Organization level in both the relationship portal and in the Introhive window in CRM. This is the same view that appears in the Browser Extension window.
In the full profile view you can search in the search bar or filter for Full name and/or title. You cannot search in the preview panel nor the browser extension.
3. Ask Introhive
If Alumni Tracking is enabled, you will be able to find alumni companies when querying Ask Introhive.
Notes:
Do the companies for new colleagues have to exist in Introhive?
No, Introhive can find companies for colleagues that do not have corresponding organizations in Introhive.
Why can't I select an alumni to view more details?
If a former alumni was never ingested, their name will not be selectable.
Can I edit an alumni?
No, you cannot edit alumni at present.
