Ask Introhive

What is Ask Introhive?

Ask Introhive is a premium, powerful AI assistant for easy access and analysis of Introhive data. It's a data query tool that lets you ask questions in plain language about contacts, companies, relationships, and activities, providing quick answers in a readable paragraph and preview table.

Where do I access Ask Introhive?

Ask Introhive is located on the main Introhive Portal toolbar on the left hand side via an icon.

How do I use Ask Introhive?

1. Ask a question - In Ask Introhive, questions can be typed in the open text box at the bottom of the screen.



Three sample questions are also provided above the text box.

When asking questions, be as specific as possible. For example, instead of just asking "Who are my contacts at Stellar Mobile?", ask "Who are my contacts in the marketing department at Stellar Mobile?"

2. Retrieving the Answer

After typing the question, press enter or click the submit arrow. Ask Introhive will process the request. Depending upon the complexity of the question, this can take several minutes to complete. Please be patient while it is compiling the answer. While it is processing, a circling icon will appear.

3. The Generated Response

Ask Introhive will generate a response based on your question. If there is a lot of data in the question, it will provide a summary of the data that it found. The full data set can be downloaded in a csv file ( outlined below).

3. Querying the Response

Once a summary has been retrieved, you can ask another question at the bottom of the screen that queries the data that has just been displayed, to further clarify a point. For example, from the above query, you could now ask which colleagues know Jacob Evans.

4. Raw data format

Selecting the Raw data icon displays the detailed data that supports the paragraph answer. This table will include relevant columns such as contact name, company, title, and last activity.

5. Exporting to .csv

The data can be exported to a .csv file for further analysis or sharing. Select the Download full CSV button to download.

How can I copy this data to an email or chat window?

Select the copy icon from the summary window to copy the data to your clipboard. This can then be pasted into an email, chat program, etc.

How can I find a history of my questions?

Select the action button to the right of the Ask Introhive title at the top of the screen, then select History. This will display a history of your questions, and any follow-up questions you may have had.

How do I start a new, unique question?

Select the action button to the right of the Ask Introhive title at the top of the screen, then select New Conversation. This will return you to the main Ask Introhive screen.

How do I cancel a request that is in progress?


Select the X button in the question field to cancel a request in progress.

Does Ask Introhive work with my Alumni feature?

Yes, Ask Introhive will work with the premium Alumni feature. If you ask Introhive about alumni that are at different organizations, it will report back to you on those alumni.

My request is taking a long time, why?

  • Depending upon your question, and the complexity of it, Ask Introhive may take several minutes to generate a response. This is usually much much faster than trying to distill the answer yourself. If you cancel the query and start it again, it has to re-query the database, which will take just as long to compute.

What are the thumbs up and thumbs down icons for?

  • You can use these to let Introhive know if the answer to your question was helpful or not. This is reviewed by our team to help improve the product - it is not teaching the AI how to query your data.

What data sources does Ask Introhive use?

  • Ask Introhive uses only your data to generate a response. It is not learning nor being taught anything while performing an analysis. It is not querying outside sources.

    • Find potential business opportunities by analyzing your network and highlighting connections you might not be fully leveraging.

  • Analyze communication patterns

    • Reveal insights into email and meeting interactions with your contacts and accounts.

  • Identify key influencers

    • Find the most connected or influential people in your network, both within your organization and at client companies.

Does Ask Introhive work with Alumni and Champion Tracking?

  • Yes - but you must have the premium Alumni and Champion tracking features enabled.
