Overview

Smart Sync allows you to automatically sync contact information to your CRM if it meets pre-defined criteria. This functionality would remove the manual syncing process currently required to sync contacts.

Smart Sync Rules

Your CSM will collaborate with you to determine the criteria for Smart Syncing your contacts.

The Smart Sync feature is very flexible. Rules can be defined such as contact completeness, title, addresses completeness, relationship strength, etc.

Smart Sync also retains the existing rules currently used to prevent personal and private contacts from being suggested for sync.

Introhive has some existing rules that you can choose from to determine if a contact would be smart synced. For example:

  • All contacts that would normally be suggested in a sync digest

  • Contacts from your Address Book

  • Contacts with a complete address where the address for the contact is complete

  • Only contacts with a certain title level (ie: Manager or above)

  • Contacts with a minimum relationship score (i.e. very high)

  • Only contacts for Introhive users with a specific role (such as Smart Sync role, data operator, or administrator)

Setup

The setup process for Smart Sync is very streamlined:

  • Coordinate with your CSM to determine the rules that best fit your Smart Sync requirements.

  • If Introhive does not already have a rule configured that matches your requirements, we would work with you to configure a custom rule that works best for your environment. This would then be communicated to Introhive’s development team for review, and if approved, would take several days to configure in your hive.

  • Determine who in your organization should have Smart sync enabled and communicate this to your CSM. Your CSM will arrange to have the appropriate user roles added. After this, Smart Sync will begin during the next sync cycle.
